Work through the numbers

Finance calculators

Choose the question you want to explore. Each result depends on the inputs and assumptions shown on the tool; it is not an official quote, tax filing or investment forecast.

Before relying on a result

Start with made-up numbers to understand the calculation. Then verify units, period, fees and exclusions. For income tax, match the financial year and assessment year. For loans, check the lender’s actual schedule. For SIPs and inflation, an assumed constant rate is an illustration of arithmetic, not a prediction.

Read the calculator limitations or report an unexpected result with hypothetical inputs.
